Emails that provide information from our sponsors/partners are a free and optional service. Workboard Australia requests that you indicate your preference for receiving information from our sponsors/partners at the time of registration. You may opt out of this at anytime, by emailing us your username with the subject of ‘sponsors/partners marketing - unsubscribe’.
Information from our sponsors/partners will be distributed to our users by Workboard Australia, and at no time will personal user information ever be provided to sponsors/partners.
Work Experience Opportunities Emails
Emails that provide information on new/updated work experience opportunities posted on Workboard Australia are a free and optional service. Workboard Australia requests that you indicate your preference for receiving information on new/updated work experience opportunities at the time of registration. You may opt out of this at anytime, by emailing us with your username with the subject of ‘work experience opportunities - unsubscribe’.
Employee Profiles and Employee Surveys
Emails that provide information on new/updated Employer Profiles and/or Employee Surveys posted on Workboard Australia are a free and optional service. Workboard Australia requests that you indicate your preference for receiving information on new/updated work experience opportunities at the time of registration. You may opt out of this at anytime, by emailing us with your username with the subject of ‘employer profiles and surveys - unsubscribe’.
Newsletter
Newsletter style emails from Workboard Australia that provide a range of information and news on career management and courses is an optional service. Workboard Australia requests that you indicate your preferences regarding receiving Workboard Australia’s Newsletter at the time of registration. You may opt out of this at anytime, by emailing us with your username with the subject of ‘newsletter - unsubscribe’.
Online Applications for Work Experience
Making an online application for a work experience placement on Workboard Australia is a free service that requires a user to be registered.
Work experience applications require you to complete a range of mandatory fields (including contact, education and application details). Your application, including attachments and cover letters, are forwarded directly on to the third party advertiser.
This information may also be disclosed to Workboard Australia’s service providers and contractors from time to time who assist us to deliver our products and services.
By applying for a work experience placement on Workboard Australia you are requesting that Workboard Australia passes your information to the Advertiser as a part of your application for work experience.

Workboard Australia takes all reasonable steps to ensure the security of our systems and information. Any information which we hold for you is stored on secure servers that are protected in a controlled environment.
